To create additional FTP accounts, just follow these simple steps:
- Login to Web.Manager
- Click on FTP Accounts Management
- Click on Create Account
- Fill in these queries:
- Login Name (the username for ftp)
- Password (passwords are not displayed on screen!)
- Full Name (Just for vanity sake)
- Home Directory (see below) *
Home Directory Specifications:
Your Home Directory is always preceded by "/usr/home/LOGIN/" where
LOGIN is your FTP/Telnet login. It's also automatically defaulted for
you and you need not therefore type it.
Assuming you created a directory called "test" in your main server,
then specify /usr/home/LOGIN/test" as your home directory.
If you created a directory called "test" in a folder called "bill", then
specify "/usr/home/LOGIN/bill/test" as your home directory.
Note that you have to specify the exact url and not just a soft mapping.
For example, your "www" folder is mapped to
"/usr/home/LOGIN/yourdomain.com/htdocs". Hence you should specify
"/usr/home/LOGIN/yourdomain.com/htdocs/test" for a folder/directory
called "test" in your "www" folder.
